Apply now for the Civic Leaders Fellowship Program - Deadline Feb. 8
Are you a college student looking for meaningful summer employment? Would you like to learn more about how to engage in service to your community? The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation has the program for you!
This summer, the PACF is once again offering its Civic Leaders Fellowship Program, which provides seven weeks of paid employment to students who have completed at least one semester of post-secondary education and who permanently reside in the Foundation's service region (Calhoun, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood Counties in WV and Washington County OH).
Fellows are matched with internships related to their career interests, where they work full-time Tuesday-Friday. On Mondays, students engage in programs related to personal and civic leadership development under the guidance of the PACF. The PACF also seeks applications from area employers, including businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies, interested in hosting an intern at no cost to them.
