Apply to be a Food Justice Fellow this summer
The 2019 Appalachian Food Justice Fellowship Program recruiting a diverse cohort of Food Justice Leadership Fellows who are eager to develop projects and skills to support their communities. People of color, women, LBGTQ and resource limited applicants are strongly encouraged to apply and will be given additional consideration.
The Fellowship Award ($3,250) will cover all programmatic costs to participate in the Food Justice Leadership Program (May 13 – June 4th, 2019). Fellows will be responsible for their travel to and from the institute site. The Fellowship also provides an additional $500 stipend to support a community or campus based project designed and implemented by the fellow. All fellows will also earn 3 credits of advanced coursework from WVU through the fellowship.
