SPH welcomes new communications specialist

On January 28, the School of Public Health welcomed its newest employee, Jessica Wilmoth, to the team. Jessica joins WVU as a communications specialist, reporting to Kimberly Becker, director of marketing and communications for SPH. She will serve as the primary multimedia producer and social media coordinator for the School and will partner with our Student and Academic Affairs team to identify ideal candidates and story ideas for marketing and communications platforms.

Jessica has 10 years of experience working in a higher education environment, joining us from Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, W.Va. There, she worked closely with the offices of institutional advancement, alumni relations and enrollment management while serving in various roles, most recently as online communications coordinator in the Office of Communications & Marketing. Jessica has experience developing and managing projects for online and print media, including website maintenance, social media administration and promotional materials design. She also is familiar with email communication, photography and videography. Jessica graduated from WVU with her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications and bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.
