WVU Delta Omega to host poster competition - Deadline Feb. 15 | School of Public Health

The Gamma Mu Chapter of Delta Omega at the WVU School of Public Health invites all undergraduate, MPH, MS and PhD students participating in the 54th Annual Van Liere Convocation & HSC Research Day to also participate in the 7th Annual Gamma Mu Student Poster Competition.

There will be two Categories: 1) Undergraduates, 2) Graduate Students (MPH, MS, & PhD).
To participate, you will present your poster twice, once to the Van Liere Committee and once to our Gamma Mu Poster Judges, comprised of SPH faculty members and members of the Gamma Mu Executive Committee. The overall winner of each category will be chosen to represent our Chapter and School at the National Delta Omega Poster Contest at the 2019 Annual American Public Health Association (APHA) meeting and will receive a $500 travel award. The overall winner of each category will also be recognized at the WVU School of Public Health Spring Banquet/ Graduation Dinner and presented with a plaque. The overall winner of each category will be required to submit an abstract to the Delta Omega Student Poster Contest and be required to attend the 2019 APHA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA.
